Marinated With Up To A 20% Solution Of Water, Vinegar, And Salt Rubbed With: Sugar, Dehydrated Onion, Dehydrated Garlic, Chili Pepper, Salt, Spices, Maltodextrin, Natural Hickory Smoke Flavor, Natural Flavors
Instructions
Cook Smithfield® Fresh Pork until tender, or 200°F for pulled pork. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Cook to a minimum internal temperature of 145°F as measured by a food thermometer. If additional flavor and browning is desired, sear meat on all sides in a pan over medium-high heat prior to following the directions below.
OVEN: Heat oven to 375°F. Place pork in a Dutch oven or a covered roasting pan. Pour one inch of water into the bottom of the dish. Roast, covered, for 2 to 2-1/2 hours. Use tongs or metal utensils to pull pork in the baking dish and mix with juices.
SLOW COOKER: Place roast in 4- to 6-quart slow cooker. Pour ½ cup water into pot. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours (High: 4 to 6 hours). Use tongs or metal utensils to pull pork in slow cooker and mix with juices.
