Ingredients
Marinated With Up To A 20% Solution Of Water, Vinegar, And Salt Rubbed With: Cane Sugar, Maltodextrin, Brown Sugar, Spices, Mustard, Garlic Powder, Vinegar Powder, Dehydrated Worcestershire Sauce (Distilled Vinegar, Molasses, Corn Syrup, Salt, Caramel Color, Garlic Powder, Sugar, Spices, Tamarind, Natural Flavor), Natural Smoke Flavor, Salt, Natural Flavor, Extractive Of Tomato, Xanthan Gum
Instructions
Cook Smithfield® Fresh Pork until tender, or 200°F for pulled pork. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Cook to a minimum internal temperature of 145°F as measured by a food thermometer. If additional flavor and browning is desired, sear meat on all sides in a pan over medium-high heat prior to following the directions below.
OVEN: Heat oven to 375°F. Place pork in a Dutch oven or a covered roasting pan. Pour one inch of water into the bottom of the dish. Roast, covered, for 2 to 2-1/2 hours. Use tongs or metal utensils to pull pork in the baking dish and mix with juices.
SLOW COOKER: Place roast in 4- to 6-quart slow cooker. Pour ½ cup water into pot. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours (High: 4 to 6 hours). Use tongs or metal utensils to pull pork in slow cooker and mix with juices.
