8 slices Hometown Original Bacon
 
1 lb. Fresh asparagus spears
 
1-2 tbsps. Olive oil
 
to taste Salt
 
to taste Pepper
Directions

Preheat your oven to 400°F.

Wash the asparagus spears thoroughly and trim off the tough ends.
3.
Take a slice of Smithfield Bacon and wrap it around 2–3 asparagus spears, depending on their size. Start wrapping from the bottom and continue to the top, slightly overlapping the bacon. Repeat this process for all the asparagus spears.
4.
Secure the bacon with toothpicks if needed, especially at the ends, to prevent it from unraveling during cooking.
5.
Place the bacon-wrapped asparagus on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Drizzle olive oil over the bundles and season with salt and pepper.
6.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the asparagus is tender. Keep an eye on them toward the end of the cooking time.
7.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Optionally, remove the toothpicks before serving. Serve warm as a delicious appetizer or side dish.
