Directions

Preheat the oven to 425°F and line a sheet pan with oversized parchment paper for easy clean-up.

Arrange the bacon strips on the lined pan and bake for 8–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until brown and crispy.

Remove the bacon from the oven, pat off excess grease, and cut into bite-sized pieces.

While the bacon cooks, spread the tater tots on a second greased sheet pan.

Sprinkle the tots with taco seasoning and stir to coat all sides evenly.

Place the tots in the oven on a separate rack and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until crispy.
7.
Remove the tots from the oven and top with shredded cheddar cheese and chopped bacon.
8.
Return the pan to the oven and bake for another 5–7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
9.
Top with jalapeños, chili peppers, tomatoes, and green onions.
10.
Serve immediately while hot.
