Prepare a smoker for indirect heat with applewood chips to 275 degrees
Remove all packaging from the ham and place cut side down in a baking dish or cast-iron pan
Place the ham in the smoker for an hour and a half
Combine the remaining ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium high heat, whisking frequently
Remove from the heat and allow to cool
After an hour and a half of cook time, brush on a heavy amount of the BBQ glaze every 10 minutes for an additional 30 minutes
Remove the ham from the heat and allow to rest for about 10 minutes
Serve hot with some of the BBQ glaze on the side
