Ham Steak and Pineapple Skewers
2 steaks, cut into 1 1/2" chunks Anytime Favorites Hickory Smoked Boneless Ham Steak, 8 oz.
Pineapple Soy Baste
Directions
1.
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
2.
In a blender or mixing bowl, combine the pineapple juice, honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, and ginger. Blend or whisk until smooth, then set aside.
3.
Thread the ham, pineapple chunks, bell peppers, and shallot pieces onto skewers, alternating the ingredients.
4.
Place the skewers on a greased sheet pan and baste all sides with the pineapple-soy mixture.
5.
Bake the skewers in the oven for 8 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
6.
Switch the oven to broil and broil each side of the skewers for 1 minute to add a slight char.
7.
Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
