Ingredients
Directions
Heat a large non-stick sauté pan or griddle over medium high heat.
Preheat broiler.
With a ring cutter, cut a medium sized hole out of the center of each slice, reserving the cut out for another use.
Spray the pan or griddle with pan release and add two slices of ham in the pan.
Crack two of the eggs into the hole in each slice and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, taking care not to break the yolks when you flip the ham.
Transfer the slices to a platter or plate, and repeat with the remaining two slices of ham and four eggs.
While the ham slices are cooking, butter the Texas toast on one side, place on a baking sheet and broil until just golden brown.
Cut the toast diagonally if desired, and serve each toad in the hole with 4 halves of toast.
