ELIGIBILITY:&nbsp;The Smithfield “Win Free Bacon for a Year” Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to individual, legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (“D.C.”), who are at least 18 years of age and the age of majority in their jurisdiction at the time of entry. Employees, officers and representatives of Smithfield Packaged Meat Sales Corp. (“Sponsor”), Advantage Unified Commerce and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, fulfillment and marketing agencies and employees and members of their immediate families (spouse, parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and households (whether related or not) of any of the above are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. By participating, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor which are final and binding in all respects. Void outside the United States/D.C. and where prohibited by law. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.&nbsp;
TIMING:&nbsp;The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 AM ET on 3/1/23 and ends on 12/31/23 at 11:59:59 PM ET (“Promotion Period”). During the Promotion Period there will be ten (10) Sweepstakes Periods: 3/1-3/31/23, 4/1-4/30/23, 5/1-5/31/23, 6/1-6/30/23, 7/1-7/31/23, 8/1-8/31/23, 9/1-9/30/23, 10/1-10/31/23, 11/1-11/30/23 and 12/1-12/31/23, each starting on the first date at 12:00:01 AM ET and ending on the last date at 11:59:59 PM ET (each, a “Sweepstakes Period”). The Sponsor’s computer shall be the official timekeeping device.

Limit: one (1) Entry per person/email address per Sweepstakes Period. All Entries must be received by 11:59:59 PM ET on the end date of each Sweepstakes Period; respectively 3/31/23, 4/30/23, 5/31/23, 6/30/23, 7/31/23, 8/31/23, 9/30/23, 10/31/23, 11/30/23 and 12/31/23. Non-winning entries WILL roll over to subsequent Sweepstakes Periods, if any. Entry limitation, as stated above will apply. Entries that are generated by a script, macro, or other automated means and/or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules will be disqualified. SWEEPSTAKES DRAWING AND PRIZES:&nbsp;There will be one (1) random drawing per Sweepstakes Period. There will be a total of ten (10) random drawings conducted throughout the entire Promotion Period. A random drawing will be conducted on or about 4/3/23, 5/1/23, 6/1/23, 7/5/23, 8/1/23, 9/1/23, 10/2/23, 11/1/23, 12/1/23 and 1/3/24. Each random drawing will be conducted by an authorized agent of Sponsor, from all eligible Entries received for each Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible Entries received for each Sweepstakes Period.&nbsp;One (1) Grand Prize&nbsp;will be awarded for each Sweepstakes Period (except for the last Sweepstakes Period which will award three (3) Grand Prizes): the Grand Prize consists of a one (1) year supply of Smithfield® Bacon awarded in the form of fifty-two (52) manufacturer coupons each valid for one (1) free package of Smithfield® Bacon with a maximum retail value of $10 per coupon (“Prize”). Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of each Grand Prize: $520.00. Use of Prize coupon(s) is subject to product availability and to terms and conditions of the issuer and must be used at a participating retailer in accordance with retailer’s coupon policy. Sponsor is not responsible for product unavailability. Product distribution and availability may vary by participating retailer. Sales and any local tax (if applicable) tax are not included. Additional restrictions may apply. Winner must supply valid US Shipping address (no P.O. Boxes) prior to shipment of Prize. Allow 4-6 weeks from winner verification date for Prize shipment. Limit: one (1) Prize per person and per household for the entire Promotion Period.
WINNER NOTIFICATION/VERIFICATION:&nbsp;Potential Sweepstakes winners will be notified at the email address used to register for the Sweepstakes. The potential winner must respond to such email with the requested information within 72 hours of date notified or the Prize may be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner. Potential Prize winner(s) may be required to complete, sign and return an Affidavit of eligibility, liability release and (where lawful) a publicity release. Noncompliance by date specified for the return of any documents or return of these documents or any prize or prize notification as undeliverable, will result in disqualification and an alternate may be selected. Sponsor is not responsible for any change of email or mailing address. Prizes will be awarded assuming a sufficient number of eligible entries are received for each Sweepstakes Period, and prizes are properly claimed in accordance with these Official Rules. No more than the stated number of prizes will be awarded.

PRIZE RESTRICTIONS:&nbsp;No substitution, assignment or transfer of Prize is permitted by any winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value, at their sole discretion if an advertised prize or portion thereof becomes unavailable. All federal, state and local taxes and any other costs and expenses associated with the acceptance and use of any prize not specified herein are the sole responsibility of each winner. All prize details shall be determined by Sponsor in their sole discretion.&nbsp;
GENERAL CONDITIONS:&nbsp;All federal, state and local income taxes on the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Entry into this Sweepstakes and/or acceptance of a Prize constitutes winner’s agreement (and agreement to confirm in this grant in writing, if requested) and permission for Sponsor, and their designees to use winners’ names/likeness, photograph and limited biographical information for advertising and trade purposes in any and all media worldwide without limitation and without further notice or compensation, unless prohibited by law. Acceptance of a Prize further constitutes winner’s acknowledgement that the “Released Parties” (as defined below) have neither made, nor are in any way responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Sponsor reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate or suspend this Sweepstakes should causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Sweepstakes. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the intended end date, Sponsor will, if possible, award the prizes in a random drawing from all eligible Sweepstakes entries received prior to the Sweepstakes termination. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Sweepstakes-related materials and the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
