It was with much deliberation that the Smithfield team has come to the difficult decision to bring the program to an end in 2024. Established in 2017, Smokin’ With Smithfield has provided event support for sanctioned barbecue competitions, barbecue teams and pitmasters across the country and is honored to have awarded more than half a million dollars in grants to over 200 smaller barbecue events through the course of the program.
