Gather Ingredients from the list below 2 pound Brussels sprouts, shaved 1 Medium sweet onion, shaved 1 quart Heavy cream 2 cups Gruyère cheese, shredded 1/4 tsp. Ground nutmeg 1 cup Seasoned breadcrumbs 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees and bring a large pot of water to a boil.

While the water is coming to a boil, render the bacon in a large sauté pan until crispy.

Drain on paper towels.

When the water is at a rapid boil, blanch the Brussels sprouts until bright green and then shock in ice water to stop the cooking.

Drain the sprouts well in a colander and pat as dry as you can with a dish towel or paper towels.

Combine the breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese, reserve.
7.
Combine the sprouts, bacon, onion, heavy cream, nutmeg, and Gruyère cheese.
8.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with the breadcrumb mixture.
9.
Bake for about 30 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
10.
Serve immediately.
