Ingredients
- 1 lb. Smithfield Smoked Sausage, chopped1 lb.
- 2 1/2 pt. Chicken stock2 1/2 pt.
- 1 lb. Sauerkraut, drained1 lb.
- 2 cup(s) Fresh mushrooms, sliced2 cup(s)
- 2 whole Large carrots, diced2 whole
- 3 Stalks celery, sliced3
- 3 whole Medium red potatoes, diced3 whole
- 1 whole Medium sweet onion, finely diced1 whole
- 1 can(s)oz. Diced tomatoes1 can(s)oz.
- 2 Tsp. Dried dill2 Tsp.
- 1 pn. Caraway seeds (optional)1 pn.
- Salt
- Pepper
- 6 slice(s) Smithfield bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled6 slice(s)
- 1 1/2 oz. Parmesan cheese, finely grated1 1/2 oz.
Instructions
Stir together all ingredients in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low setting for 10-12 hours or on high setting for 5-6 hours. To serve, garnish with crumbled bacon and Parmesan cheese.
