Ingredients
- 1 package Smithfield All Natural Thick Cut Bacon1 package
- 1/2 cup Light brown sugar1/2 cup
- 3 teaspoons Gingerbread spice3 teaspoons
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees
Whisk together the brown sugar and gingerbread spice
Line a baking sheet with foil, and top with a baking rack
Spread bacon slices out evenly across the rack, working in batches if necessary
Sprinkle enough of the brown sugar mix on each of the slices of bacon to coat
Bake for about 20 minutes, or until brown and beginning to crisp
If the bacon isn’t starting to crisp, continue baking, checking at 5 minute intervals
When the bacon is ready, transfer to a platter lined with parchment paper, allowing to cool completely
Serve to Santa!
