Ingredients
Grilled Boneless Ham Steak with Shaved Asparagus and Buttermilk Dressing
- 2 whole Boneless ham steaks2 whole
- 1 lb. Thick asparagus, shaved, using vegetable peeler1 lb.
- 1 cup(s) Arugula1 cup(s)
- 2 Radishes, sliced thin2
- 2 Tsp. Pine nuts, toasted2 Tsp.
- 1 Tbsp. Basil, torn1 Tbsp.
- 2 oz. Parmesan, shaved2 oz.
Buttermilk Dressing:
- 1/4 cup(s) Buttermilk1/4 cup(s)
- 2 Tbsp. Olive oil2 Tbsp.
- 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice1 Tbsp.
- 1 Tbsp. Chopped chives1 Tbsp.
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
Buttermilk Dressing: Place all ingredients in a Mason jar with a lid and shake well to combine. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
Asparagus Salad: Toss all ingredients except Parmesan together with enough of the buttermilk dressing to just coat. Season to taste and top with shaved Parmesan.
Ham Steak: Prepare charcoal or gas grill over high heat. Grill ham steak until charred and warmed through. Remove to plate and top with asparagus salad.
