Directions
1.
Heat a large heavy bottomed skillet over medium-high heat, add the bacon and render until crispy. Remove the bacon and drain on paper towels, and pour off the grease and reserve.

Add the ham steaks and brown on both sides, remove from the pan and reserve warm.
3.
Add one tablespoon of the bacon grease to the pan and add the onions and mushrooms and sauté until tender.
4.
Add the peas and soup, and reduce heat to low, bringing to a simmer.
5.
Add the cheese and stir until melted, add the ham, and heat through.
6.
Transfer to a large serving platter and serve warm.
